Reconstructed prior to the 1989 Velvet Revolution, the Atlantic Hotel boasts a history and tradition which dates back to the 17th century, when it was a roadside inn called "The Green Ox." Though small, the lobby is designed in a modern style, with a seating area and marble floors, and leads through to a Cuban-themed bar. Carpeted throughout, the 62 medium sized guestrooms feature tasteful decor and dark wood fittings. They are kept in good condition, as are the tiled bathrooms. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the ground floor overlooking the street. Its restaurant also has a better-than-average reputation for serving up authentic Czech fayre.
