Blue Key hotel

Letenska 14 Prague 1, Prague

Our Review

It may look a bit nondescript from the outside, but the Blue Key is a gem of a hotel, housed in a 14th century building, with quaint décor, a friendly atmosphere and a charming courtyard. Street-facing rooms can be slightly noisy due to passing trams.

The Blue Key Hotel is named after the medieval picturesque sign which hangs outside its entrance. The property, originally a 14th century Gothic palace, surrounds a small courtyard. It gained its current appearance in the Baroque period and was completely renovated in 1999, under supervision of the local Heritage Office. There are 22 guestrooms, each room being large, comfortable and uniquely decorated, with either a king-size bed or twin beds. All rooms boast a wide range of modern amenities. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which features a graceful arched ceiling and hardwood floors.
